Shortly after its inception, ProTrans expanded into Mexico, focused on building a strategic network of facilities throughout North America and along the US/Mexico border. These long-standing roots in Mexico have enabled ProTrans to become a leading cross-border logistics expert. With unmatched border capabilities and door-to-door service, including intra-Mexico services, ProTrans is positioned as a provider of choice for customers in need of Southbound and Northbound transportation as well as those looking to capitalize on nearshoring in Mexico.

ProTrans’ commitment to excellence includes ISO and CTPAT certifications and continuous efforts to reduce its carbon footprint throughout its global operations by leveraging its consolidation model. Making good on that pledge, ProTrans continues to invest in sustainable operations, including the recent purchase of 50 new, energy-efficient trucks that were added to the fleet this summer. These trucks were integrated into the asset-based division of the company, Millennial Transport Services, which serves key manufacturing customers in North America.

“The purchase of these trucks is part of a multi-faceted sustainability plan to reduce CO₂ emissions, lower our operational carbon footprint, and provide sustainable supply chain transportation solutions as a dedicated environmental partner to our customers,” explained Daryl Knight, Chief Commercial Officer at ProTrans. “They will reduce carbon emissions on routes where used by 15-25% to help lower the lifetime operating expenses of our fleet and provide additional opportunities to lower our customers’ transportation spend.”

Embarking on the next 30 years, ProTrans expects to continue to grow and expand, drawing on the ingenuity and determination from the last 30 years and the customer-centric mindset of its team today.
