ProTrans Proudly Welcomes New CFO, Cielo Hernandez

Indianapolis, IN – February 4th. ProTrans announced today that Cielo Hernandez has been appointed new CFO of the company. An experienced business leader, Hernandez will succeed Lisa Doerner and assume responsibilities on February 14th.

Hernandez has over 30 years’ experience in finance as well as 10+ years in logistics with extensive years of progressive experience working in Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Information Systems. Through her career she has developed expertise in North American, Chinese, European, and Latin American financial environments. She is a strong leader, skilled at analyzing complex processes with a distinct problem-solving approach and energetic attitude to drive the strategic vision and objectives of a company.

“We are excited for the opportunity to work with Cielo,” said ProTrans Holdings President, Gary Cardenas. “She brings a unique skillset and perspective that will allow ProTrans to grow and progress as an organization.”

During her career, Hernandez has been awarded “Women to Watch in 2020,” by South Jersey Biz Magazine, as well as “Best in Class Finance Business Partnering,” and “Global Finance Transformation Award” by A.P. Moller-Maersk.

Hernandez received her MBA from the University of Miami Herbert Business School in 2008, as well as numerous other credentials and certificates from Cornell University, Universidad Santiago de Cali, and IMD.

Cielo has expressed her excitement at the future of ProTrans Holdings, as well as the opportunity of bringing her experience and expertise to its financial divisions.
